Youth Violence Prevention

Interactive workshops for students 12+ that focus on safety, empowerment and violence prevention. Topics include: consent, healthy relationships, dating violence, gang recruitment and awareness, human trafficking, sextortion, cyber safety and bullying.

Teen IRL (“In Real Life”) Empowerment and Prevention Program

Immersive Learning workshops for students 12+ including an award nominated virtual reality game “In Your Shoes”, a digital Wheel of Consent game, group activities and scenario-based learning. Workshops are typically half day and are delivered in schools or as a field trip experience to Whitby Safety Village.

Human Trafficking Training for Healthcare Providers

Learn about the stages of exploitation, risk factors, how to identify red flags and how to intervene and support. Developed in partnership with healthcare workers and diverse Survivors, this free, self-paced e-course was created using recommendations from the ‘Rise Up’ Research study. It provides education from a healthcare perspective and trauma-informed lens, identifying common indicators and challenges specific to healthcare environments.
